Lest We Forget
The "new" Veterans Memorial Building in Lafafyette is the legacy of two veterans
buildings originally dedicated in 1925 (Walnut Creek) and 1939 (Lafayette).
These buildings honor the memory of those Americans who died and will
die to preserve our sovereign way of life. It is our pledge to neither
squander nor abuse their sacrifice.
